Data controller

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Ars Arthro Biyoteknoloji A.Ş. (Orhun Mahallesi, Kümeevleri Sokak, Gökçeköy Sitesi, No:6, Etimesgut, Ankara, Türkiye) as data controller, as described below.

Personal data processed

Contact form: name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), and the subject and content of your message.

Job application form: name, gender, address, phone numbers, e-mail address, education, work experience, seminars and training attended, social activities and hobbies, language levels, military service status, driving licence and travel availability, and smoking status.

Technical data: IP address and browser information at the time of submission, only to prevent abuse and spam.

Purposes and legal grounds

Contact form data is processed to answer your enquiry and communicate with you, on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to entering into or performing a contract) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller).

Job application data is processed to run recruitment, assess candidates and contact you, on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-f.

Smoking status is special category (health) data under KVKK Art. 6 and is processed only on the basis of the explicit consent you give in the form. You may leave this field blank; doing so does not affect your application.

Transfers

Your personal data is never sold. It is shared, strictly for the purposes above, with the providers of the site’s hosting and form infrastructure (Cloudflare, Inc.) and our e-mail provider. As their servers may be located abroad, transfers are carried out in accordance with KVKK Art. 9. Where required by law, data may be shared with authorised public bodies.

How data is collected

Your personal data is collected electronically through the forms on this website, as submitted directly by you.

Retention

Contact requests are kept for up to 2 years after the request is closed, and job applications for up to 2 years from the date of application; after that they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights under KVKK Art. 11

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7, and to have these actions notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time.
